Kiev continued drone strikes against Russian peaceful energy infrastructure against the backdrop of the Russian-US talks in Riyadh, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Against the backdrop of Russian-US expert-level talks on the topic of settling the conflict in Ukraine that took place in Riyadh on March 24, the Kiev regime continued to deliberately strike Russian peaceful energy infrastructure facilities using UAVs," the ministry said in a statement.
On March 24, the Kiev regime carried out a drone strike against Rosseti Kuban energy facilities in Krasnodar region, disrupting the "Rostov NPP - Tikhoretsk" power line.

Oil pumping for European consumers will slump due to another terrorist attack by Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Channel One.
ReplyDeleteHe noted that Kiev blew up the Sudzha gas metering station, which provided energy for a whole number of European countries, on the night of March 21.
"It is currently impossible to do it, same as it is impossible to use the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which suits the interests of Kazakh and US business, with one of its pump stations, Kropotkinskaya, having been attacked, with time needed to repair losses. And again, oil pumping for European consumers will drop sharply due to another terrorist attack by Ukrainians," the minister said.
The United States said on Tuesday it has made separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea and to implement a ban on strikes against energy facilities in the two countries.

Washington emitió dos comunicados sobre los contactos que mantuvo con ambos países entre el 23 y el 25 de marzo en la capital saudita.
ReplyDeleteEn esos textos asegura que Estados Unidos acordó con Rusia y con Ucrania "garantizar una navegación segura, eliminar el uso de la fuerza y evitar el uso de buques comerciales con fines militares en el mar Negro". También acordaron "desarrollar medidas" para prohibir los ataques contra las instalaciones energéticas rusas y ucranianas.
En cuanto a Rusia, Estados Unidos se comprometió a ayudar a restablecer su acceso "al mercado mundial de exportaciones agrícolas y de fertilizantes", así como facilitar su acceso a puertos y a sistemas de pago para esas transacciones. Respecto a Ucrania, Washington se comprometió a "ayudar a lograr el intercambio de prisioneros de guerra, la liberación de civiles y el regreso de los niños ucranianos transferidos a la fuerza" a territorio ruso.

ReplyDeleteAny violation of the moratorium on strikes against energy infrastructure in Russia or Ukraine by either side automatically renders the agreement void, the Kremlin said in a statement.
ReplyDeleteAccording to a clarification issued by the Russian presidential press service, "the temporary ban is effective for 30 days starting on March 18, 2025." It can be extended by mutual agreement.
"If one of the parties violates the ban, the other has the right to consider itself free from the obligation to comply with the agreement," the Kremlin added.
The US will monitor compliance with the agreements that delegations from Kiev and Washington reached in Saudi Arabia, and third countries could also play roles, Vladimir Zelensky told reporters.
