The latest UK sanctions against Russia include restrictions against banks, the "shadow fleet" and Chinese companies, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said during an online address to Western leaders and Vladimir Zelensky.
"We’re announcing the UK’s largest packet of sanctions since the early days of the war, going after Russia’s shadow fleet and going after companies in China and elsewhere who are sending military component," he said.
He also promised that later on February 24 he would discuss additional sanctions with G7 leaders, which would include a new ceiling on Russian oil prices, as well as restrictions on "oil giants, banks."
