Israeli Army Raid in Jenin Leaves Two Palestinians Dead, Dozens Wounded

At least two Palestinians have been killed and 25 others injured in an Israeli military operation in Jenin, a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian health officials reported.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that two people had been killed and at least 25 wounded during the ongoing raid in the camp. The Israeli military claimed the operation was a "counterterrorism" mission but provided no further details.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli soldiers launched the assault from the Jalameh checkpoint following the infiltration of an Israeli special forces unit into the al-Jabariyat neighborhood. During the operation, drones bombed an empty vehicle near al-Zahraa School without causing injuries, while Apache helicopters hovered overhead and fired into the air.
