The Houthis from Yemen's rebel Ansar Allah movement have delivered a strike on Tel Aviv’s Jaffa neighborhood with a hypersonic ballistic missile, the movement’s military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said.
"The missile forces conducted a military operation and attacked a major target in the occupied Jaffa neighborhood with the use of a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile," he told the Houthi-owned Al Masirah television channel, adding that the missile successfully hit its target.
According to the Houthi spokesman, the Houthis will double their armed attacks with the use of missiles and drones amid Israel’s continuing operation in the Gaza Strip.
- A ballistic missile was launched from Yemen, the IDF announced early Sunday morning, after sirens sounded in multiple areas across central Israel.
The IAF intercepted it prior to its crossing into Israeli territory.
A police spokesperson said that Israel Police was conducting scans in the city of Beit Shemesh and surrounding communities to locate fallen remnants of the intercepted missile.
