The United Kingdom’s course toward supplying Kiev with long-range missiles is fraught with a confrontation of nuclear powers, Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin said.
"It has been reported that another batch of Storm Shadows was transferred [to Ukraine] several weeks ago. However, there have been no clear statements that they [British authorities] have allowed Kiev to use these missiles for strikes inside Russia but they have already used them to strike at the Kursk Region," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.
"I would like to note that the British have utterly ignored all our warnings and opted for escalatory actions to further worsen the Ukrainian crisis. And, naturally, this is fraught with bigger strategic risks, and even a confrontation between nuclear powers under the worst scenario," he warned.
