Extensive damages to bridges as a result of Israeli aggression on border crossings in Tartous and Homs provinces

Last night’s brutal Israeli aggression caused severe damage and destruction to al-Dabbousiya, Qamar and al-Jubaniyya bridges in the western Homs countryside and Aridah in Tartous on the Syrian-Lebanese border, putting them out of service.

“The Israeli aggression caused the destruction of al-Dabousiya bridges (the concrete and metal ones) , the Qamar Bridge crossing, and the Jubaniyah, which are vital bridges linking Homs province and the Lebanese borders, and that led to cutting off the movement of citizens and cars across these bridges.” Director of the General Establishment for Road Transport in Homs, Eng. Nabil Aqoul, said in a statement to SANA.

In a similar statement in Tartous, Director of the General Establishment for Road Transport, Engineer Hussein Nasser, said that the damage to al-Aridah Bridge was very severe and significant.
