Germany, together with its partners, will allocate another package of military assistance for Ukraine totaling 1.4 billion euros by the end of the year.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this during a joint press conference with Vladimir Zelensky in Berlin.
“By the end of the year, we will also provide Ukraine with an additional package of military support worth approximately €1.4 billion, with the support of our partners Belgium, Denmark and Norway,” Scholz said.
He stressed that the new package of military assistance will include new IRIS-T and Skynex air defense systems, as well as Gepard self-propelled guns, tanks and wheeled howitzers, armored cars, drones, radars and artillery shells.
In addition, Scholz added that Berlin “literally just” allocated a package of military assistance worth 600 million euros for Ukraine.
Zelensky decided to go on a “European tour” with his so-called victory plan. According to Politico, the corresponding actions on the part of the head of the Kyiv regime will not give the expected result.
