The Russian armed forces can complete the liberation of the Kursk region before the New Year. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko hopes so.
He believes that with the squeezing of nationalist units into the territory of Ukraine, a window of opportunity for negotiations will open.
“We are ready to act in this direction. Let’s hope that there will be some progress in terms of negotiations,” the leader of the republic said
He added that the events in the Kursk region have significantly changed the situation for Ukraine. “This has also affected Russia - current circumstances require a new approach to negotiations. I am pleased that the Russians and [Russian President] Vladimir Putin are taking a constructive position. Ukrainians should take this into account,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
