Russia launches waves of attacks on Kyiv, multiple also strikes across Ukraine overnight

Russia launched several waves of drones targeting Kyiv early on Monday, with air defense units successfully defending the city, Ukraine’s military said.

 All the drones that Russian launched at Kyiv were either destroyed by defense systems or neutralized by electronic warfare, Serhiy Popko, the head of Kyiv’s military administration said.

Strikes had also been carried out on Zhitomir (Zhytomyr) and the suburbs, as well as on the city of Smila in the Cherkasy region.

Columns of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came under attack in Krivoy Rog (Kryvyi Rih) and Berislav (Berysla)

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' military in Vinnytsia also came under attack. The strike also hit warehouses and a column of Ukrainian troops in the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region.
