United States will send a General to Ukraine to develop a new strategy - reports

The Pentagon will send Lieutenant General Antonio Aguto to Kyiv to develop a new military strategy, the New York Times writes, citing American and Ukrainian officials.
“American and Ukrainian military leaders are looking for a new strategy that they can begin implementing next year to revive Kyiv’s chances,” the material states.

The military leader will arrive from Germany, as expected, and will remain in Ukraine for a long time. This way he will be able to give the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine more detailed advice. But Aguto’s presence in Kyiv could be a step toward abandoning the permanent stationing of military advisers in Ukraine.
