Syria: Hasaka continues to suffer from water shortages due to Turkish aggression on Allouk station

Suffering of people in Hasaka city and its western countryside has been continuing for more than two with Allouk Water Station stopping work as a result of the Turkish occupation aggression on the power stations in the province.

Speaking to SANA, Director of the water establishment Mohammed Othman said that the Allouk station has stopped working since the third of the last October due to Turkish aggression on the power stations which led to cutting the only source of water pumping to the city of more than one million people.

Othman noted that the establishment secures adequate supplies of potable water for the people through operating 14 water desalination plants in Hasaka city.
