Britain and Norway to lead a coalition to support Ukraine at Black sea

Britain and Norway will lead a new coalition to support Ukraine's military capabilities at sea, which will deal with the provision of warships to Kiev, the British Ministry of Defense reported on its website.

"Great Britain, together with Norway, will lead a new coalition on maritime capabilities, which will supply ships and vehicles to strengthen Ukraine's ability to operate at sea", - says the statement published on the British government website.

Russia previously sent a note to NATO countries over arms supplies to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo that contains weapons for Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine.
