Ukrainians leaving wounded fellow-soldiers on battlefield near Kremennaya — LPR officer

Ukrainian soldiers have not been evacuating their injured fellows or those killed in the fighting against the Russian forces near Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), retired Lieutenant-Colonel of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s militia Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"The offensive by our servicemen in the forests of Kremennaya has exposed a large number of the bodies of Ukrainian militants," Marochko said. "A fire contact or close combat has shown that Ukrainian troops have been retreating in haste, often leaving their wounded men who could have been rescued," he added.

On Sunday, Marochko told TASS that a group of Ukrainian soldiers, presumably army defectors, had been hiding from their commanders south of Kremennaya.
