Israeli PM to face criminal probe over bribery, fraud

Israeli attorney general on Wednesday approved a full criminal investigation against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli media reported.


According to Israeli channel 10, Attorney General Avichi Mandelbit approved a criminal probe by the police against Netanyahu over bribery and fraud allegations.

"Netanyahu will be investigated by the police for two separate cases, one of them are backed by evidences," it said.

"He [Netanyhau] will be called for questioning by the police in the coming days," the channel added.
