The youngest of the three suspects in a supposed terrorist attack in
Paris surrendered to French police in the early hours of Thursday
morning, France 24 reported security sources as saying.
Police were hunting three French nationals, including two brothers from the Paris region, after suspected Islamist gunmen killed 12 people at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday.
The identities of the three men police were pursuing were earlier named as Said Kouachi, born in 1980, Cherif Kouachi, born in 1982, and Hamyd Mourad, born in 1996. Reuters contributed to this report.

“All the three, as police suspected, had been linked to recruitment of volunteers for the Jihad war in 2003-2005. ReplyDeleteCette explosion d'origine criminelle survient au lendemain de l'attentat qui a fait au siège de l'hebdomadaire satirique Charlie Hebdo à Paris douze morts, dont 4 dessinateurs, 2 policiers et un observateur de la radio France Inter. Par ailleurs, 11 personnes ont été blessées.
Jeudi, à 8h00 heure locale (10h00 UTC), des tirs ont retenti dans une banlieue de Paris. Un individu a tiré à l'arme automatique sur deux policiers, en blessant grièvement l'un d'eux. L'agresseur a été interpellé. Rien n'est connu toutefois sur les raisons de son attaque.
