The Syrian president Bashar Assad asserted during a meeting with the
cadres of al-Baath party in Tartous that the US
administration has started to change slowly its policy towards Syria and
that Obama is maneuvering, according to al-Akhbar newspaper.
President Assad added that regaining Aleppo province will frustrate the Erdogan's plot of establishing a buffer zone.
The Syrian leader highlighted the consistency of the alliance with Russia and Iran, noting that if Egypt decides to mediate to end the crisis, it must develop good relations with Syria.
