The forces were using riot dispersal methods on the rioters.
On Shmuel Ben-Adaya street, near the Mount of Olives in east Jerusalem, stone throwers pelted a minibus damaging its windshield.
There were no injuries in the attack. Security forces were sweeping the area for suspects.
