President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko formally proposed to the Russian side to send its inspectors as part of the OSCE observation mission to the east of Ukraine where they can verify Kiev honoring ceasefire, RIA reports the press service of the Ukrainian president saying.
This was discussed during his telephone conversations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

ReplyDeleteIm Ukraine-Konflikt haben nach der Armee am Montag nun auch die prorussischen Separatisten im Raum Donezk eine Waffenruhe bis zum 27. Juni verkündet. Die Aufständischen in dem Gebiet würden als Reaktion auf den Friedensplan von Präsident Petro Poroschenko nun ihrerseits das Feuer bis zu diesem Freitag einstellen.
Das sagte der selbsternannte Ministerpräsident der von Kiew nicht anerkannten "Volksrepublik Donezk", Alexander Borodaj, der Agentur Interfax zufolge. "Wir hoffen, dass während der Feuerpause Verhandlungen über eine Friedensregelung beginnen können", sagte er. Donezk gilt als eine der wichtigsten Hochburgen der Separatisten.

Donetsk propone tregua en Ucrania con un cese el fuego....
ReplyDeleteComo paso previo a un posible acuerdo de paz en Ucrania, se anunció este lunes un alto al fuego por parte de Donetsk (este de Ucrania), sólo si el Ejército de este país también accede. La tregua estará vigente hasta las 10H00 de la mañana (hora local) del 27 de junio, comentó el primer ministro de la República de Donetsk, Alexánder Borodái.
"Durante este período Rusia y la Organización para la Seguridad y la Cooperación en Europa (OSCE) organizarán un monitoreo sobre el cumplimiento de la tregua”, dijo.
Borodái también señaló que esperan que mientras dure la tregua “podamos llegar a un acuerdo y empezar las consultas sobre las negociaciones de la paz", comunicó.

ReplyDeleteThe leaders had a detailed discussion on various aspects of the critical internal crisis in Ukraine and prospects for settling the situation, including implementing the peace plan proposed by President Petro Poroshenko. Vladimir Putin stressed that ending military actions and starting direct talks between the conflicting sides would have priority significance for normalising the situation in the southeast regions. The leaders also noted the importance of urgently resolving humanitarian issues, including immediate assistance to the people who have been affected.
During an exchange of opinions on other current issues on the international agenda, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama expressed grave concern about activities in Iraq by militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorist group. The President of Russia expressed support for Baghdad’s efforts to fight the Islamists and establish peace and security in the nation.
The Presidents also touched on the situation in Syria, taking into account the completion of the process of removing chemical weapons components from the country, as well as issues pertaining to the Iranian nuclear programme.
